Order to Task List

Return to Solutions

Order to Task List was born out of the 2008 Prometheus Group User’s Conference. When asked what software in SAP would make your job easier, creating a task list from a work order was the first suggestion. Users spent a lot of time scoping out a work order, adding materials, and building the plan. After building the work order the planner realized a reusable tasklist should have been built instead. Order to Task List solves this issue.

Product Overview

When the function is executed the following items from the work order will be copied into the task list:

  • Header Data (short and long text, work center, plant, assembly, etc)
  • Operation data (short and long text, work, number, duration, etc)
  • Production Resource Tools linked to the operation
  • Materials
  • Inter-operation relationships

The O2TL function can be easily accessed from the IW32 enhancement tab user exit.
